How to
Setup: Stand in a comfortable boxing stance on a clear floor with hands resting in guard.
Steps:
- Turn lightly through the balls of your feet in one direction.
- Let the hips and shoulders turn together a small amount.
- Return to the starting line and practice the other direction.
Cues: Keep knees soft. · Use a small turn, not a twist against a planted foot.
Stop if: your knee or ankle hurts, or you feel off balance.
Easier: Practice the upper-body turn with feet still and a smaller range.
Harder: Link a short step to the pivot and reset.
